4 days out.

I PROMISE I will respond to all emails/messages as soon as the competition and move are complete! Please know that I do not delay replies just for sh*ts and giggles. You all are so important to me and I want to make sure I don’t rush any responses. Be patient with me 🙂

My stats right now:

  • height: 4′ 11
  • weight: 102
  • body fat: 9.3%

To be honest, I do NOT like being this small/lean and I definitely to not advise or encourage this sort of leanness year round. Your body will snap and chances are you’ll end up building a tolerance and will not be able to lean out to maximum potential at all. I usually am only actually this lean about 1 month out of the year, the rest of the year I average 116 lbs and about 4 bean burritos a week. (hahahah for real though.)

I’ve been bottle/hand feeding our little baby rabbit every morning for the past week and it has honestly been the one thing keeping me sane.btw. If you’d like to see all these random photos and my somewhat useless yet always intriguing status updates, feel free to ‘like’ the facebook page 🙂

Some photos from our trip to Laguna Beach in March.
I look at them whenever I want to go back…

some things never change.

before and after.

I loved hearing the awesome responses to the first before and after post! Hearing your individual journeys is so beautiful and helps me remember that we’re not alone in becoming, staying, and living healthy!

Knowing where I  started, and where I am now has been one of the most positive things I’ve gained from this blog since last August. While the physical changes are obvious, the mental, emotional and spiritual growth/changes are even more beneficial and…were even more necessary. Over the past month, I feel like the WORLD has been lifted off my shoulders. Those of you who are in life coaching with me know that sometimes the WORST thing for your life and your future is being involved with a “life-sucker”. It’s that simple. If there is someone(are someones) in your life that drain you of time, energy, thought…you NEED to separate yourself. It is what is best for your life, but also what is best for theirs, believe it or not. You will not only feel more peace, I guarantee it…but you will start to see drastic changes as you dedicate the “lost time” to your spiritual life, physical health, and those relationships that are healthy, mutual, and beneficial.

Here are some of my favorite quotes on change/improvement.

“Has this world been so kind to you that you should leave with regret? There are better things ahead than any we leave behind.”   C. S. Lewis

“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” Albert Einstein

“Any change, any loss, does not make us victims. Others can shake you, surprise you, disappoint you, but they can’t prevent you from acting, from taking the situation you’re presented with and moving on. No matter where you are in life, no matter what your situation, you can always do something. You always have a choice and the choice can be power. ”  Blaine

I hope you all had a day full of love and laughs with your dads today. And for those of you whos hearts are hurting without a father today, know that you have a Father in heaven who loves you more than you could even imagine.

Here’s another before and after.

brotherly|love – ends

We’ve reached Ian’s last day at my place for this weekend and I am so bummed 😦 We ate cream of wheat and watch Bill Cosby’s stand up from 1972 (I think that was the year). Ian was cracking up. Now we are going to Costco to get my eggs and chicken breast for the week, and then D will be coming to join us for some football in the park. It’s SUPER hot today, I think a high of 102? I hope I can keep up with the boys! 😉

-please ignore my lazy eye. it makes an appearance every once in awhile, especially in the sun-

So far, the entire day has been an entire success. I met some lovely girls studying for their exam at Starbucks this morning to become nurses! I got to put my two sense in, and bless their hearts, they didn’t even mind.

Ian and I then headed to my neighborhood park, which I am sad to admit, I have not gone to the entire time I’ve been in current pad. It was so lovely. There was a playground there too, pristine. It made me kinda sorta sad when I asked Ian all excitedly “wanna go play on the playground honey!?!?” (I tend to ignore the fact that he is 11 now, and not 5 😥 ). He just looked at me and said “Actually, I’d prefer to play soccer, but I can watch you play if you want?” ………

After, we stopped by Goodwill and I scored a $19.95 tele set for my Super Nintendo game station. hahahaha. I played my first few rounds of Super Mario, and I’m pretty sure I reawakened the love from my childhood. Devon’s going to love it. Ian played for about 10 minutes and then he wanted to read or put on Dean Martin‘s Variety show. Such a classic buff!

What a beautiful start to the weekend.
